Weißburgunder
vom Kalkstein

2020 represented something of a “première” for us because it was the first time that we also had our Pinot Blanc grown from the lime/loessial soil of the southern Palatinate near Maikammer and Altdorf. On the nose, it is slightly smoky, reduced, and brioche. On the palate, you notice the slight reduction of new wooden barrels, and the high extract values assert themselves here too, lending the wine much lustre and a beautiful quaffability.
